Never a Stain is a blog designed to help you, the flooring consumer, find cleaning are floor care products that actually work. If you are like me and my friends, we have tried everything to remove stains from carpet and even surfaces like hardwood and tile, especially the grout.
I started this carpet care blog because I kept buying the cleaning gimmicks sold on tv in infomercials and they never seem to work, or at least not as well as on tv. In fact, not that I study this issue further, I have discovered that some of these flooring infomercials use polyester carpet which DOEST stain. No wonder the stain or dropped liquid came up so easily. Polyester is a stain protectant and blocks stains from occuring, but I dont want polyester carpet.
My quest is to continue to find solutions that not only remove carpet stains but also help prevent the stains from occurring. If you are like me and have steam cleaned your carpet then you probably don’t have many stain resistant properties left. I had no idea that the steam cleaning removed the stain protection on my carpet that I paid extra for. In fact, they say that regular vacuuming and carpet care will remove the stain protectant put on in the factory.
If you have found a carpet cleaning or other floor type care product that you want to share with the world, leave your comments here. I look forward to communicating with my fellow floor owners on the best solution to protect our flooring investment.
